Julianne Wade is a painter based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Inspired by the desert’s delicate balance of fragility and resilience, her work reflects the colors, textures, and shifting moods of the landscape.
Working in soft, muted palettes, Julianne creates atmospheric compositions where elements of nature, ornament, and subtle narrative intersect. Her paintings explore moments of stillness, transformation, and connection—inviting a sense of calm, curiosity, and reflection.
Julianne earned her MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and studied painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts. She also participated in the Low Residency program at the Fine Arts Work Center. Her work is held in private collections and has been exhibited in galleries and institutions across the Northeast and Southwest. Studio visits are available by appointment.
